Angie Kent’s X-rated advice to liven up your sex life: ‘Let’s be real’ – Yahoo Lifestyle

Angie Kent is one of Australia’s favorite TV personalities, from the Gogglebox sofa to The Bachelorette mansion, she always has something to say. Now he’s here answering all your burning questions about your sex life.

Question: I really like someone I’m dating but the sex sucks – should I persevere and how do we get better?

I have so many questions! Like, how old are they? How bad are we talking? Are they a good learner? Are they willing to learn? With some of the questions answered, I think my advice may be different. But since I can’t ask any of my four million questions, I’ll just pretend in a perfect world that this person is willing to learn and that will make life easier for both of you (perhaps wishful thinking).

Look, in an ideal world, you and your partner are both physically and emotionally compatible. But sometimes life isn’t always peachy. Don’t lose hope though… I believe good sex can be taught! How do you ask? Communication and will!

If you’re both willing, there’s usually something that can be done. And if one of you isn’t, your relationship probably has bigger problems than sex. Because communication is key in a relationship. Sex is not the most important thing, but it is very important. It’s not just sex, it’s a way to connect with someone. If you get along outside of the bedroom (assuming you do), you can definitely use that chemistry to make magic in the bedroom.

I like that you said how WE improve because it takes two to tango. I cannot stress enough how important communication is. Why not start by talking about what you both like if you don’t want to jump right in and say something isn’t working? Or if you think you can come right out and say it… what’s stopping you?

Even talking about what you like can be a turn-on and can spice things up a bit. There’s also a lot of material out there: tons of books, podcasts, audiobooks, and meditations. Try listening to tantra meditations on Insight Timer! Or good old fashioned porn. Watching a few of them together can give you some ideas about what you want your sex to be like. Amateur, of course, because some of the content you see on your favorite porn site is HIGHLY edited and dramatized for your (especially male) viewing pleasure… and sex isn’t meant to look sexy and perfect all the time. Let’s be real.

Spend a solid month or so rediscovering (or discovering) your sexual relationship and trying new things. Intercourse should not be the main meal. Enjoy the entry… I find the entry is generally the best anyway. IYKYK.

Don’t get to the point where it’s so bad there’s no way to talk about it. Experts say that if you talk about what’s going on and are honest, you can usually get to the root of the problem and then there won’t be a problem at the root. Oooh, I’ll leave it at that. It was a solid outing.

Happy rooting x
