SAN FRANCISCO: Discord has announced that it is launching “Themes” for its Nitro subscribers to give them more ways to bring their own vibe to the desktop chat platform.
“Along with the other benefits that come with your Discord Nitro membership, you’ll be able to bring new nuances to your Discord views,” the company said in a blog post Thursday.
“Choose from themed colors like Chroma Glow, Citrus Sherbert, Midnight Blurple and Retro Raincloud to name a few.” To test the themes, Nitro members can navigate to their user settings and select “Appearance”.
Then, under the existing light and dark themes, users will see a new color section. Now, just select a theme and it will be instantly reflected in the app.
“If you want to see what a specific theme will look like, use the Theme Preview button. You can even preview a theme whether or not you’re subscribed to Nitro!,” the company said.
Last week, the chat platform had announced that it was updating its ‘Clyde’ bot using OpenAI technology.
The new Clyde will answer questions and have long conversations with users and their friends.
