New Delhi, Nov 22: Aftab Amin Poonawalla, suspected of brutally killing his partner Shraddha Walkar, was granted a four-day extension of police custody by a Saket court on Tuesday.
In a video conference hearing, Judge Aviral Shukla extended the police detention.
Poonawalla told the court during today’s hearing that he killed Shraddha in an unprovoked fit of rage. There were inconsistencies in his statements, it was suggested, because he could not establish a precise chain of events because it had been months since the alleged assault.
