Oregon The State University has launched a presale for Oregon Pollinator Paradise registration.

It has two Oregon bees: the honey bee and the yellow-faced bumblebee.

The plate has been designed by a high school student from Estacada.

Some of the funds from these plaques will go to the university’s Department of Horticulture to support their bee-related efforts.

There’s one catch: OSU must first sell 3,000 vouchers for the plates before the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles can produce them. Just over 2,000 had been sold as of Tuesday afternoon.
