After Shawn Mendes and Sabrina Carpenter were spotted on multiple occasions, sparking dating rumors, it looks like the Canadian pop musician has finally set the record straight. In a new interview with RTL BoulevardMendes deflected the question about Carpenter.
“We’re not dating, but I think we should talk about Tommy Hilfiger probably more than Sabrina,” Mendes replied, referring to her collaboration with the fashion brand.
The two had first been linked in mid-February through a blind article that was published on DeuxMoi. Things have also recently heated up on the rumor mill after Mendes and Carpenter were filmed leaving Miley Cyrus’ Endless Summer Vacation release party together.
Then, a few days later on March 12, they were spotted once again chatting at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party. An anonymous source previously confirmed her relationship with Entertainment tonight.
“Shawn and Sabrina are seeing each other. They’ve been hanging out a lot and trying to keep things on the down low. They were at a birthday party a couple of weeks ago and they were cute together. Shawn is happy,” they said.
Meanwhile, Carpenter, in the teaser for his new collaboration with Charlie Puth, ends up making out with him. He posted the preview on TikTok, causing fans to continue freaking out. He also released the deluxe version of his album Emails I Can’t Send today (March 17).
