The Hague hearings on West PH Sea row begin in 2022

Oral arguments on the country’s claim over the West Philippine Sea have begun in The Hague. A United Nations court will take a week hearing the case and then at least a month before releasing its decision. An expert says that it will be a difficult first round for the Philippin panel because China has managed to air its side even if it refuses to join the arbitration.
